Ronda
A town split by a gorge, an hour and a half inland
- What it is
- A white town built on both sides of a hundred-metre gorge, joined by an eighteenth-century bridge, with one of the oldest bullrings in Spain.
- Getting there
- Train or bus from Málaga, around an hour and three quarters.
- When to go
- Any time; it is high enough to be cool when the coast is not.
- On a student budget
- The standard first weekend trip. Go early and leave late — the day-trip coaches arrive at eleven and leave at four.
